1:1s and 2:1s offer private, bespoke sessions that are tailored to each individual.
These sessions are equipment based Pilates which offers a safe, supportive and effective workout. Depending on location you’ll either be using the Reformer or the Cadillac/Reformer both of which are incredibly versatile and can both challenge and support the body.
At The Reformer Room in Long Eaton I can provide 1:1, 2:1s and small private classes using the Pilates Reformer and various small equipment.
At the studio in West Bridgford I can offer 1:1s using the Cadillac/Reformer and small equipment.

There are many reasons to attend a private or semi-private Pilates session;
If you’re new to Pilates a private session will introduce you to Pilates in a safe and non-judgemental environment. You’ll work at your own pace, become familiar with Pilates exercises and techniques, and comfortable with the Pilates equipment.
Sessions are tailored to your individual needs and goals. As you will be working 1-on-1 with the teacher you will receive personalised cues and guidance, given the teacher’s undivided attention, and enjoy a bespoke session focused on achieving your goal whatever that may be.
If you’re already attending Pilates classes then 1:1s provide an opportunity to refine your technique, focus on specific issues or goals, or progress towards your goal quicker with extra sessions and the full attention of the teacher.
If you want to work out alone or with a friend then 1:1 and 2:1s guarantee that. Sometimes classes don’t fit in with your schedule, or you to be alone to get the most out of your sessions, or you find it more enjoyable to practice Pilates by yourself or with a friend.
If you’re recovering from an injury or illness or want to prevent an injury in the future, Pilates has been proven effective in rehabilitation of muscular and musculoskeletal injuries and a great way to prehab the body. 1:1s sessions will allow you to work at your own pace and focus on your specific needs which can be tailored to suit you.
Benefits of Private Sessions
Private sessions have all the benefits of class based Pilates except they are bespoke to your needs, more effective, and more time efficient.
If you have a specific goal in mind or a specific timeline then private sessions would be beneficial. You will see results quicker because you have the full attention of the teacher, the sessions are focused entirely on your goals, and you’ll be guided into using your muscles efficiently.
